our purpose
Our mission is to boost small and medium-sized businesses in economically challenged communities, where young people face social vulnerability but hold high growth potential.
We will begin our journey in Newark, New Jersey — a city marked by deep challenges, where approximately 18% of youth aged 16 to 24 are out of school and not working. This rate is nearly double the state average and reveals a reality that goes far beyond local borders: it reflects a national urgency.
Disconnected youth — young people between 16 and 24 who are neither studying nor working — now total more than 4 million across the United States, directly affecting the country’s economic and social development.
In cities like Camden (NJ), Reading (PA), and Tampa (FL) — chosen for YouthWave’s expansion — the impact is equally significant.
In Florida, for example, over 11% of youth live in this condition, while the national average hovers around 10.9%. In areas such as Berks County, where Reading is located, thousands of young people face this same silent exclusion.
Our work emerges as a concrete response to this scenario. Through learning opportunities, training, and placement in the creative and digital market, we will work directly to help rebuild lives. A portion of our team will be made up of these young talents — individuals in active development who will contribute authentic ideas, energy, and a fresh perspective on communication. This is a unique quality that humanizes our work and inspires those who choose to partner with us.
At the same time, we will deliver accessible, intelligent solutions for local entrepreneurs who need to stand out in an increasingly competitive market.
Our impact begins locally, but our vision is national: to transform vulnerability into strength. We believe that every reconnected young person and every empowered small business is a step toward a fairer, more dynamic, and sustainable economy.
YouthWave stands for innovation with purpose — a project that brings together inclusion, opportunity, and real transformation, where marketing is no longer just a sales tool, but a driver of social change.
